OpenCart Vs. Magento:

As you see, Magento is one of the largest open source ecommerce shopping cart application in today’s market. Can you say Magento is better than OpenCart? I think you cannot make a conclusion so fast.. Each shopping cart has its own advantages. Of course, there’re much more users are using Magento shopping cart application and there’re much more Magento templates than OpenCart. I’ve tried to install OpenCart Vs. Magento on my ecommerce website to compare with the 2 shopping carts deeply. Yes, I admit Magento has much more features than OpenCart, but OpenCart also has its own advantages. I found OpenCart is very suit for the small business, such as a home family business, since you don’t have too much products and that’s very easy for you to manage your products. Of course, there’re much more users are choosing to use Magento to open their business website, but I do recommend you can try to install the 2 applications on your website manually to compare with its advantages first.

    I totally agree!
at the moment im using opencart and honestly, its working fine!
When you create a template i suggest to all the webdesigners to creat their own anyway instead of using one.
OpenCart is very easy to use and it might not have that many features as magento. But sometimes i think some open source systems are just ‘overcomplete’.
