First I would like to say that I will never consider using or recommending Arvixe to anyone. I talked to a sales guy and everything seemed fine at first, I even checked online for reviews and they seem to have a lot of positive reviews out there. I was planning on being an affiliate and have about 30 customers lined up to give them. Right now we run our

own servers and didn't want to worry about charging customers or support server upgrades.

Anyways I sat up the first customer on their businessClass ASP, after a week his site got defaced. I called support to show them, they blamed our CMS script. This customer has never been hacked on our servers in 7 years they been using us. We actually invest time

and money running automated and manual security checking and educating our developers for the last 2 years. Our security guys thought that was a joke and laughed.

Second customer signed up on VPSClass ASP, his site has never worked. The first time he site was configured we added his email accounts for Website Panel, uploaded his site and sat up his domain. 12 Hours after his site was setup they said spam was being sent from his server. (We have never even updated his name servers for his domain yet). They reactivate his account and his site always received a permission error. The customer had them delete his account and recreate it; they recreated it with the name IP address. All we did this time was FTP his files, uninstalled the control panel and everything on the server besides the mail server, SQL server and IIS. The same error happened and they once again sent an email saying he sent spam. We have never even touched or sat up any email account on the server. The customer canceled his account, moved it back to our servers without any problems.

We sat our site up on the VPSClass ASP account and didn't really have any issues. I am

pretty sure I notice when setting up an account in Website Panel there was a security hole

that I probably shouldn't mentioned. I patched it though on our VPS, I was going to spend

a couple days to break into my site but with all the other issues with customers I didn't

have time to waste. That wasn't verified but 90% sure I can take advantage of that.

Another customer signed up on the businessClass ASP and didn't have any issues yet, only

been 4 days for them.

We canceled our account because we cannot afford issues and became afraid of their

services.

I asked this guy (Kevin) via email to look at the issue. I had remote desktop open with

the screen for him to see, he responded with an answer that if he read my whole email I

told him the answer that he responded to. Also he didn't even open remote desktop because

my session never ended. Then he responded the customer can open the relay to the SMTP

server. I wish I would have uninstalled the mail server, because he probably would have

still had spam sent out.

We have run a dozen or so servers that we colocate at a data center for the last 8 years and knock on some wood, we have never received this many issues.

So the bottom line with this review is if you enjoy rude emails or issues being blamed on scripts and customers then use Arvixe. If you like a company that listens to their customers then go far far away from Arvixe. After talking with Arvixe my 15 years of development and server administration experience felt like I was being treated like I didn't know a thing about anything.

I am so confused now. Every web hosting I see say they are the best deal. I am looking for one and so far I found a lot that tells me they are the best.

<blockquote>Arvixe destroyed my whole year of work because of incompetent staff and extremely poor customer service. They also destroyed my account before the migration was proven successful. Despite many many attempts to contact them, but still couldn’t really reach anyone and work on the issue. The 24/7 availability is absolutely false.

It is an understatement to say that they suck. I would love to destroy them with a sledge hammer.</blockquote>

Hello Shawn,

Sorry to hear this.
You can try to call their support team or email to their manager Arvand@Arvixe.com to check further.

Thanks,
Billy
