I am disappointed as well. Their control panel for windows is really slow and times out often. Their response is, “well, it’s windows and everything about windows and apps that run on it are buggy”. But the biggest surprise was that even though they use MS SQL 2008, they left out the fact that it’s the Express version!! That is NOT intended to be used in an enterprise environment. Express is limited to 1GB of ram, 1 cpu, and there are over 150 databases on my instance! One bad query and it’s all over for the rest of us! Moving to HostGator!

Arvixe hosting is definitely better in terms of Affordability & Reliability. other than that they all provide pretty much the same services and hosting scripts.

i’m disappointed in arvixe hosting, i have the reseller class and at first it ran great, but i’ve noticed over a hundred new databases appear (database mngt lets you see names of other people’s databases) within the past 3 months and my websites now go extremely slow. I don’t think it’s possible to use the bandwidth they advertise due to how slow the shared hosting is.
